Ministry
Our women’s ministry here at Higher Calling provides an atmosphere of community where spiritual growth, fellowship, ministry and outreach all take place as we live out God’s purposes for our lives. We encourage every woman to be a part of this ministry where they will find love, acceptance and encouragement for their walk with Christ. We meet once a month at various locations including member’s homes. We also participate in yearly events such as retreats and conferences.
We believe God has uniquely shaped each woman for service in His church. Women were some of Jesus closest followers and He reached out to them in a way that was unprecedented for that time. He loved them, valued them and broke down the barriers that had held them captive as contributing members in society as well as the church. At Higher Calling, we follow the example Jesus set for us in encouraging women to find their God-given gifts and abilities and to use them in God’s kingdom whether that is in a ministry or in the leadership of the church.
